When we awarded Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia the Intersex Advocacy Award at the Unity Banquet, she was unable to attend and sent a representative to accept the award on her behalf. We were quite surprised when she reached out to us and invited us to attend the Equality Brunch event as her guests. It was a great event and we were inspired by all the work others are doing to make change and promote equality for all.

THIS aims to empower and enrich the lives of intersex people while working to end shame and create visibility through education, community events, and the arts.
